Learning experiences of a lifetime including careers in Accounting, Tax Preparation, Call center operator, Girl Scout Membership Specialist, wife and mother provided the opportunity to meet, greet and get acquainted with numerous peoples in many walks of life. All wonderful people with many facets to their personalities; they were open to the world, secretive, private, funny, serious, sober, eccentric, casual, formal, each with their own quirk or individuality. All together fodder for the creation of interesting and compelling characters. The many public activities in our culture and world provide substance for plots, sub-plots and created characters to react; thus creating a novel of suspense, romance, danger, humor, comfort, adventure and challenges. An author’s challenge is to create the characters and give them something to do thereby creating a work of fiction for readers, hopefully, to enjoy. |
